Title: Dial 'M' For Murder Company: Warner Brothers Year: 1954 Country: United States of America Length: 106 System: Color: WarnerColor Sound: Producer: Alfred Hitchcock Director: Alfred Hitchcock Script: Frederick Scott (after his same stage-play) Camera: Robert Burks Music: Dimitri Tiomkin Actors: Grace Kelly, Ray Milland, Robert Cummings, Anthony Dawson, John Williams 3D-System: Polaroid Remarks: An ageing tennis champion tries to arrange the death of his wife so that he will inherit, but his complex plan goes wrong. Hitchcock did not try very hard to adapt this highly commercial play for the cinema, nor did he exploit the possibilities of 3-D. But for a one-room film with a not very exciting cast the film holds its grip pretty well.
