The Stéréo Club Français was founded in 1903 and celebrated its 100th birthday with the ISU at the ISU Congress in Besançon in 2003. A bulletin is published monthly.

Also three or four meetings per year in each of the areas of Metz, Bordeaux, Nantes, Lyon, and Geneva together with the Swiss club.
