We got a whole case of these viewers that a distributor shipped without individually
packaging the viewers. So the outer casings are scuffed and may have some scratches.
The lens panels on the inside are in good condition. We have inspected each
one, inserted a Susan & David Reel 3-D postcard, and have repackaged them. This
is a $10.00 savings over the original retail price. Supply is limited, so don't
wait if you have been wanting extras of this viewer!!!
Burdlo 3-D Camera
Burdlo 2-Lens 3-D Camera -- A Custom built twin 35mm Full-Frame format Automatic 3-D Camera with a reduced lens base.
The
Burdlo is a custom-built 3-D camera based on the original Nimslo camera
body (yielding 18 pairs on a 36 shot roll).
Please also note, that although the Burdlo will take a 24mm x 36mm image, that, due to the position of the shutter blades, there is some vignetting at smaller apertures. For this reason the best results are obtained using ISO 100 film most of the time. ISO 400 should normally not be used outdoors, only in lower light situations. A full-frame image is only obtained at the largest shutter aperture of f/5.6. At smaller apertures most images will need to be masked into the 24mm x 32mm to 24mm x 28mm range.
The set of included close-up lenses change both the point of sharp focus, and the point of convergence of the two lenses as follows:
+1 = 28" / 71 cmThe physical quality of these cameras is "factory finished" and the results from it are as impressive as any good stereo camera. The reduced lens spacing makes it unsuitable for good scenic 3-D, but ideal for people and portraits.
+2 = 18" / 46 cm
+4 = 9" / 23 cm

Mr. Burder offers a 1 year warranty on the camera, which must be returned directly to him in England for repair or replacement.

This
is the handy large folding viewer that comes with the Loreo & Argus Stereo
Camera outfits. The heavy grey plastic viewer with very large plastic
prismatic lenses is designed so that no focusing or interocular adjustment
is needed. A clip holds standard size 4" x 6" or 3.5" x 5"prints in place.
This is for side-by-side prints taken with the Loreo, Argus, or 35mm Beam-Splitters.
It is not for standard 3.5" x 7" antique stereo view cards. It will work
with smaller side-by-side prints such as 2.25" x 2.25", 6cm x 13cm prints
and Raumbild prints.
